SARA SCHLEEDE
Hello! I’m Sara, an audio journalist based in New York City. I am currently a producer for Acast Productions, where I work on various podcasts and vodcasts. I’m well versed in every step of the production process, from crafting an intimate and surprising conversation to going down a research rabbit hole, or scrubbing out sibilance from an audio file like a painter working en plein air. Most of all, I love making work that uncovers fringe history, questions cultural norms, and generally finds the deeper meaning behind seemingly simple, straightforward things.

Beyond audio, my creative practice spans other mediums such as essays, photography, poetry, paper collage, and fiber art. I am also the author of the semi-regular newsletter on Substack, Love Letters.
Outside work, you can find me cutting up old magazines, trying out new recipes, laying in the park, and adding new books to my TBR list.
